Before leaving your house, please dress in layers. The high temperature for the day is likely not the temperature it will be when the kids are getting off the bus. If you come in the cold weather or if there is snow on the ground, please wear 2 layers of pants (or snowpants), warm boots, warm coat, hat, and gloves/mittens. You will also need to pack yourself a lunch. There isn’t time during lunch to run out and get food. You will also need to bring the assignment sheet posted by your professor.

Please arrive at 8:45am. Park in the gravel parking lot nearest to Lincoln Avenue. Walk past the yellow gate and follow the gravel driveway around to the right. Keep walking until you get to Oelke Lodge. Oelke Lodge is a log lodge with both a porch and deck. An orientation meeting will be held at 8:50am. 

During your observation, we’ll ask that you help throughout the day. Get to know the kids and participate with them during the activities.

We will wrap up at the end of the day with a debrief and a signature on your class assignment sheet. You are welcome to leave at about 2:15pm.
