4th Grade Field Trip Information

WHEN YOU VISIT: January - early February

WHAT YOU DO: The 4th grade classes travel to Boston School Forest in the winter. Students get an opportunity to be lumberjacks as they study early logging in Wisconsin and forest history. They tour the Lumberjack Cabin and participate in lumberjack skills like cross cut sawing and using a cant hook. Students also learn how to cross country ski and then head out on the trails at the forest and wrap it up with sledding! l

WHAT TO BRING:  Warm coat, snow pants, 2 pairs of tall warm socks, snow boots, 2 pairs mittens/gloves, hat, neckwarmer/scarf, lunch.
